"I am a native of New Bern. I have been employed at RCS for 3 years, where I started as Executive Assistant and have since served as Program Manager, Director of Community Outreach and Programs, and now Interim Executive Director. I have dedicated my time in the trenches to work beside the community in which we love. As Interim, I have maintained our vision to connect to the community, expand programs that will assist in sustainability, and continue to operate in the purpose for which RCS was established. With my bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Services and a Masters in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in addictions, it will be the continued plan to Build, Empower, and Engage."

Amber oversees the warehouse, facilities and grounds, and inventory logistics and we are beyond thrilled to have her on our team.

⁠“I grew up here in Eastern North Carolina and more specifically right in Arapahoe, NC. I joined the RCS team last fall and have been over the moon to be a part of such a phenomenal organization. I am an ECU pirate by heart and have been doing marketing and working with non-profits for over 7 years. ⁠ I work closely with volunteers to get them plugged into RCS because we run on and are supported daily by amazing volunteers. Additionally, I work alongside outstanding teammates at RCS. We aim to connect and serve our community holistically because this is, Where Impact Lives.
