JULIET ROGERS Executive Director
Juliet joined RCS in August of 2012. She has two great kids, Kelly and Julian, and a really cute husband, Richard. New Bern has been home for 13 years and a wonderful place to raise her kids. She is lucky to have her Mom and Dad living in New Bern as well. She loves RCS because it loved her first, and she looks forward to lots of years serving the people of New Bern and surrounding counties.
DONNA BRADSHAW Associate Director
Donna's position as Associate Director ensures that any changes are communicated to all front desk volunteers. After 30 plus years at Coastal Women’s Shelter, Donna decided to make a change. She has successfully completed case management, and shelter director duties at CWS, and felt she could use that vast array of experience to make a difference at RCS. She has been married for 25 years and has 3 children.
SUSAN KACHUR Finance
Susan began working with RCS as a soup kitchen volunteer, but joined the team in 2014 as the Finance Manager for RCS. Susan and her husband moved to New Bern in 2007 with their 3 children and truly feel that it was a blessing from God that relocated them to the area. They have enjoyed being a part of the New Bern community. She had spent most of her past time as a highly active volunteer in the school system and is looking forward to the time ahead of her serving with RCS.
SUSAN LUCAS Special Events/Volunteer Coordinator
Susan Lucas was born outside of Cleveland, Ohio. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Case Western Reserve University in Sociology and her doctorate from Penn State, also in Sociology. Susan worked at Penn State for more than twenty years in various capacities. Her last position was as Assistant Dean for Equity and Diversity in the College of Information Sciences and Technology. After moving to New Bern with her husband (an award winning architect), she volunteered at MERCI Clinic and at the hospital. Susan was the Executive Director of Coastal Woman's Shelter before coming to RCS. She likes to read, play golf, kayak, and spend time with family.
DONNA HARRISON Front Office Manager
Donna is a native South Carolinian. She has lived in New Bern for approximately 20 years. Prior to moving to New Bern, Donna and her family lived in Mitchellville, MD. She worked in the District of Columbia at the Department of Treasury for 11 years and held various Contract and Procurement positions. Prior to RCS, she worked at CarolinaEast Medical Center as a Purchasing Manager. Donna has been married for 27 years to Anthony and have a son and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, gardening and playing computer games.
